Poster - Medusa

This is the first complete poster for my final major project at uni! I hope to complete 6 of these by the end, but judging by the (very slow) speed at which this was drawn, I'll be lucky if I do. Basically, my aim for this project is to show a series of 'villains', but presented in an intricate and almost beautiful way. I also wanted to tell the story through the panels, so there's a bit of a narrative in there too.

First off, we have the lovely lady/gorgon Medusa. I wanted to show her various stages, like when she was still a beautiful woman, and how she 'petrified' people into stone, as well as her fight with Perseus, and him removing her head.

All drawn in brown/black fine liner, with green water based paint for the background.
