Artist's Comments

This picture relates to a little children's book I made last year, called Flea's Journey. It stars Flea, having to search for a new home, since he outgrew his old one, and along the way he meets many friends. :) If you'd like to look at the picture book, it's here: [link] (it's only short!)

So yeah, just felt like drawing all the characters again; it could be an alternate book cover for it. Ooo, and in case you'd like to know the name of each character, here's the rundown:
Picture in moon - Wool the Mammoth
Top left - Rice the Tree Dragon
Top right - Wok the Phoenix
Middle left - the Titans
Middle right - Raz and the insects
Bottom left - Chorka the Guardian
Bottom right - Sequin the Mermaid
Not forgetting Flea himself in the middle top!

(Some pointless info for you there! ;))

I love this, and it's a wonderful composition as well :) Especially like Flea at the top, very lively! Hehehe, it's like Raz is watching from the top left :D The beast in the bottom left is cool too, like the face. The addition of the blue makes it different from the book too, I wonder how it'd be if you put a different colour on each page?
Fav+!

I love the way that each little picture looks like it's separated by the blue boarder, But if you ignore it, the picture looks so much like a whole.

I very much love every picture in here... especially Rice... *pets*

Tina: Now that's not an American saying. "Welcome to America! -I'd rather not drive with my pants off..."

Mom chit-chatting with me: You know I'm glad that things are a little clearer now, like dirty river water... rather than mud.

Wow! Very nice work, the blue outline makes the white elements seem in the foreground though (maybe that was your intention?) perhaps swapping the blue with the white would help. lol@ Wok the Phoenix :-)

I wish this would be your colour.

Beautiful! :floating: and I *love* the picturebook story... are you going to get it published? :w00t:

An inch. It is small and it is fragile, but it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us.

Thanks Melanie! Good to have a mix of both! ;)

Thanks Lady T! Haha, well Wool the Mammoth was indeed modelled of El Raz. ;D Heh, thought you'd like that one! (it has the 'guh' expression ;)) Funnily enough, I was thinking about adding colour to the panels, but I wasn't sure if that'd make it too crazy! Can always be tried though, thanks again!
:icongreyflea:
Yes, that's just the look I was going for! Thanks very much! :D
